On Friday, Adam Levine took a jab at artists on Twitter in what became a mini-feud with Lady Gaga. Ugh..recycling old art for a younger generation doesn't make you an artist. It makes you an art teacher.

It didn't take long for Mother Monster to respond to the Maroon 5 frontman's comments.

While Levine didn't mention Lady Gaga directly, she nevertheless believed the tweets were directed at her. Her fans believed it, too, especially after her latest video for "Applause."
In the video, she references a number of famous works of art including the Sandro Botticelli painting "The Birth of Venus" and the 1957 film "The Seventh Seal."
Three days later, Levine got back in the ring.
