Julia Louis-Dreyfus channels Veep character during Emmys acceptance speech

Julia Louis-Dreyfus won her fourth Emmy award Sunday for her performance as Vice President Selina Meyer on HBO's hit show "Veep."

As the 52-year-old actress made her way to the stage to receive her Outstanding Leading Actress in a Comedy award, Tony Hale -- who plays the vice president's personal aide, Gary Walsh, on the show -- walked alongside her to hold her clutch and stand by her side whispering important information in her ear while she delivered her acceptance speech.

This is the second year in a row that Louis-Dreyfus takes home the Emmy for her role in "Veep."

"It means a ton because I've actually lost many, many more times than I have won," Louis-Dreyfus, who's been nominated for an Emmy 16 times said in the press room after her win. "I've lost ten times as a matter of fact and so it is delicious to win."

Earlier that night Hale also won an award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in "Veep."
