Anna Chlumsky may have lost the Outstanding Supporting Actress award Sunday night, but she still looked stunning in an emerald green gown designed by Badgley Mischka.

The 32-year-old "Veep" star gave birth to her first child, daughter Penelope Joan, back in July -- the same week she was nominated for an Emmy Award.

"It was neat because it was me and my husband and my daughter all in the room getting the [Emmy] news at the same time," the actress said soon after her daughter was born. "When [my manager] told me, it was that nervous, happy, appreciative laughter. I just laughed a lot! It feels really great to have your work noticed.

Chlumsky's "Veep" co-stars, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale, won respective awards for Outstanding Actress and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
