Jennifer Lopez attends DWTS premiere to cheer on friend

The "American Idol Judge" made a surprise appearance at the Dancing With The Stars premiere to support her friend Leah Remini.

Jennifer Lopez attended the 17th premiere of "Dancing With the Stars" on Monday to support her longtime friend Leah Remini as she made her dancing debut with professional partner, Tony Dovolani.

The 44-year-old "Idol" judge was accompanied by her boyfriend Casper Smart and her presence at the event ended up encouraging more people than she expected it to.

"Omg @JLo is here?!!? I gotta {Dance] in front of Jenny From the Block!? Lol! I love it! #Motivation baby! #TeamMilianBallas #DWTS," tweeted Christina Milian who is also competing in the show this season.

Remini and Dovolani gave a strong first performance and received 21 points from the judges.

Lopez, a veteran dancer, congratulated her friend after the show via Twitter.

"She gave it her all and couldn't be more proud of her," she wrote.
