Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne got inked together in New York City last week. The "R.I.P" singer and her model BFF spent hours getting new tattoos by celeb tattoo artist Bang Bang McCurdy on Wednesday night.
McCurdy told E! News that Ora got a "realistic version of a Vargas painting of an pinup girl," which took five hours to do. He added that it was "the most detailed tattoo" he's done on a celebrity thus far.
"The tattoo is on her right ribcage. It's big!," McCurdy said. "When she's standing it's about 7 inches tall, but when she's laying down it's about 10 inches, plus."
Ora's new boyfriend, One Direction's Harry Styles, also got inked that evening. Styles, who has over 10 tats on his body, reportedly held her hand during the process.
According to McCurdy, Oram and Delevingne made an event of the evening. They ordered Mexican food and at one point took a break to have a dance party. At that point, the 19-year-old model reportedly out on a hamburger suit.
"She just pulled it out of her purse, put it on, and was like, 'just me and my hamburger, what, what!'" Bang Bang explained. "She's hilarious. She's genuinely fun, one of my favorite people."
McCurdy, who's done all of Delevingne's five tattoos explained she's already looking forward to getting another one.
"Cara actually texted me the next day and wanted to come in for another one," he said. "She really wanted me to tattoo her favorite piece of food, but I told her to wait a bit, just to see if she still wants it."
"When you love tattoos, your skin feels like they belong," McCurdy added. "They're wonderful."
