Dina Lohan arrested for DUI

Dina Lohan was arrested in Long Island, N.Y. Thursday for driving under the influence.

According to TMZ, Lohan's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

Lindsay Lohan's 50-year-old mother was pulled over on the Northern State Parkway by New York State Police at around 11 p.m. She was reportedly going 77 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Officials said "Lohan made an allegation that she was injured during the course of the arrest." After medical personnel examined her and determined she was fine, she reportedly "recanted her claim."

Lohan was booked in a nearby station on two counts of driving while intoxicated and one count of speeding. She was later released to a sober third party.

Lohan is due back in court later this month.
