"The local sportscast is dying," says Adam Lefkoe, who is trying to engage his Louisville, Kentucky viewers with themed recaps by request.

"Seinfeld" fans who like a good local sports recap may have seen Lefkoe on WHAS 11 hitting joke after joke in reference to the long-running sitcom.

From the Bad Breaker-upper to the J. Peterman Catalogue, and man hands to Festivus for the rest of us, yadda yadda yadda, the jokes were coming a mile a minute. Lefkoe even got his colleague to do the Elaine dance, all to the "Seinfeld" score.

"Seinfeld" alum Jason Alexander, who played George Costanza, even caught the sportscast and tweeted "Very impressive. I was happy I recognized most of them."

Lefkoe, who did a wrestling-themed sportscast last week, plans to continue crowdsourcing themes for his recaps.

"I plan to attempt this once a week," he wrote. "We’ll see if it can grow into something people tune in to watch."
