Couric, 56, had been a widow since her husband Jay Monahan died of colon cancer in 1998. She dated since, but had not found the one to settle down with until now. The "Katie" star had said before she did not expect to find love again after Monahan's death.
"It's actually surprising to me that it has been almost 15 years and I haven't remarried. I think life is more fun when you have someone in your life," she said in January. "I always wanted a father figure for my daughters, but it hasn't worked out that way. I've had long-term relationships, but they haven't turned into life-long partners."

It looks like Couric has found her life-long partner in Molner, and a belated father figure for daughters Ellie, 21, and Carrie, 17.
