Kate Upton will be officially named Model of the Year during Wednesday night's 10th Annual Style Awards in New York City.

The two-time Sports Illustrated cover girl will be honored in the event that kicks off New York Fashion Week, which is set to be hosted by Nicole Richie.

The 21-year-old model has definitely been on top of her game in 2013. In addition to landing her second Sports Illustrated cover, Upton became the face of acclaimed jewelry retailer David Yurman and starred in her first blockbuster ("The Other Woman") alongside silver screen veteran Cameron Diaz.

But dealing with fame has not been particularly easy for the blonde beauty. While being interviewed for the September cover story of Elle magazine, Upton confessed she "felt terrible" about herself after her first Sports Illustrated.

"I'm not a toy, I'm a human," she said. "I'm not here to be used."

In spite it all Upton has managed to made the difficult transition from swimsuit model to high fashion starlet -- she appeared in both American and Brazilian Vogue this year -- and by looks of it she is going to be around for a while.
