Last night, Sir Patrick Stewart was filmed by singer-songwriter girlfriend Sunny Ozell explaining the acting technique known, (perhaps only to him), as the "quadruple take."

Stewart and Ozell, seated together in the unfortunately vertical video, are overcome by giggles, leading many fans and viewers to suspect the pair had indulged in some recreational marijuana.

The "X-Men" and "Star-Trek" legend first demonstrated the well known take and double take, followed by the less frequently used triple take.

For each example, he says in a mock voice, "Her buns are the best!" and then looks over his shoulder to check out "her buns."

For the exceedingly rare "quadruple take," the actor explains it's not a "natural" technique, but nonetheless has its place in comedy. And seeing him do it -- looking a bit like a cartoon wolf howling "Awooga!" at a passing lady -- is certainly good for a laugh.
