Willow and Jaden Smith react to Lady Gaga, not Miley Cyrus in viral photo

A photo of Will, Jaden and Willow Smith reacting to one of Sunday night's VMAs performances went viral almost immediately after it was captured.

The image features Will and his two children looking stunned during the show and it was widely reported that the shot was taken during Miley Cyrus's controversial set alongside Robin Thicke.

Us Weekly, however, reports that the picture was taken during one of Lady Gaga's multiple costume changes of the night for her "Applause" performance.

Many media outlets have reported that Cyrus's twerking-infused performance made Lady Gaga's predictably unpredictable show look tame.
