In a completely unsurprising revelation, former Secretary of State Colin Powell has some pretty cool friends.

His dance moves, however? Not so cool.

The retired four-star general ended up on stage at Ron Perelman's Apollo in a Hamptons benefit Saturday night, swaying and jumping arm-in-arm with Jamie Foxx as Pharrell Williams, Lenny Kravitz and the Roots performed.

Powell even sang along a few words of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and boogied with Katie Holmes and Ellen DeGeneres.
