Some residents of Berkeley Township, a quiet, residential neighborhood not far from Seaside Heights were horrified to learn that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley would spend a summer filming an MTV reality series in their community.

Snooki and JWoww spent several years as cast members of the network's Seaside Heights-based "Jersey Shore" sensation. They channeled their friendship and popularity into a spin-off called "Snooki and JWoww," now in its third season.

In a complaint filed by a man who lives two doors down from the pair, attorney Ron Gasiorowski argued that filming posed "threat of irreparable harm" to the area.

But on Monday, Ocean County Superior Court Judge E. David Millard denied Gasiorowski's request to halt filming. Though residents against the show still have cards to play -- a zoning injunction which prevents commercial activity in residential zones.

“I don’t think it belongs here,” one resident told the Asbury Park Press. “This is a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s not a circus.”

Snooki and JWoww haven't been pleased that some of their neighbors want to ruin their "unscripted" summer at the shore.

"Laughing so hard over these reports @snooki ... Who would've thought 2 girls can piss so many people off," JWoww tweeted last month.

"If my 'actions' like playing with my son is bringing the wrong 'crowd,' obviously we are on too [sic] different pages here. I stick up for my fam," Snooki tweeted.
