Kim Kardashian knows better than keeping her friends close and her enemies even closer. Or does she?
The new mom called out Katie Couric for being a "fake media friend" after the talk show host told In Touch magazine she didn't understand why the Kardashian sisters were famous.
"I think it's mostly teenage girls that are interested," Couric told the magazine.
Upon learning about the interview, Kardashian fired back at Couric posting a photo of the present she sent for her and Kanye West's daughter North West on Instagram under the hashtag "I hate fake media friends."
The Instagram shot includes both the present Couric sent and the Barneys New York card -- complete with cut-off wording allegedly due to a printing error -- that came along with it.
"Dear Kim and Kanye,
Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! As the moth And may I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition for na
Fondly, Katie Couric"
On the caption for the photo, Kardashian made sure to include her very own humble suggestion for Couric.
"May I humbly suggest you not send gifts then talk [expletive]," the 32 year old reality TV star wrote.
