Word came last month that Fox anchor Megyn Kelly was getting a promotion to prime time, and now we know which slot she's going to take over.

Kelly will anchor the 9 p.m. hour, currently helmed by Sean Hannity, according to an insider.

“Superstar newswoman Megyn Kelly has landed the 9 PM slot, top sources reveal,” the insider said. “The shock announcement is set for later this month.”

Kelly is on maternity leave from her daytime show, America Live, which airs 1 to 3 p.m. ET.

The move sets in motion a shuffle of Fox's entire prime time lineup that could affect not only Hannity but Greta Van Susteren, now at 10 p.m., and Shepard Smith, who's on at 7 p.m., and possibly, but less likely, Bill O'Reilly, at 8.

Piers Morgan, Kelly's new 9 p.m. competition over at CNN, had a welcome message of sorts for his ratings rival. Rachel Maddow anchors the hour at MSNBC.
