Kaitlyn Dobrow has undergone more than a dozen surgeries, including the amputation of all four limbs thanks to a deadly infection, but actor John Stamos is hoping a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth will help raise her spirits.

Stamos tweeted a picture of himself with the 19-year-old announcing plans for a trip to Disneyland.

"I'm only doing this cause they asked," Stamos tweeted, including a link to the "must read" in the New York Daily News about Dobrow's illness.

Dobrow has been hospitalized at Irvine Medical Center in Southern California since February, when she contracted meningocococcemia, a vicious bacterial infection related to meningitis that moves through the blood stream and cuts off circulation to the limbs.

Just 19 years old, Dobrow was an avid dancer and boxer, and has an immensely difficult road of rehabilitation ahead of her.

Dobrow's family set up a Facebook page to track her recovery, and a GiveForward fundraiser to help cover the hefty costs of her care, as well as the need for a wheelchair accessible home and vehicle.

"Kaitlynn has had an amazingly positive and courageous attitude throughout this illness and is determined to have a happy, fulfilling life, believing that God has an awesome plan for her future. She is my hero,” said Kathi Dobrow, her mother.

Dobrow's arms were amputated below her shoulders and her legs below her knees and she needed painful skin grafts. She is mostly confined to a wheelchair or her hospital bed, but she'll eventually be fitted for prosthetics.

"Initially, she cried when she learned about her limbs," her father, Don Dobrow, said. "But the following day she said this is something I'll find a way to make work, and joked, 'Who needs a left arm anyway?'"
