The celebrity cast of "Dancing With the Stars'" 17th season will be announced live on "Good Morning America" September 4, and while there are plenty of rumors about the new group of celebrity dance hopefuls, no one has been confirmed.

"Some of the casting rumors are true and some of them are not true at all," "DWTS" co-host Tom Bergeron said Thursday. "Some of them might reflect contract negotiations that are going in one direction or another. But nothing is final yet."

The new line-up won't include Paula Deen, a source said of the disgraced celebrity cook: "The dance floor is not the appropriate forum for her."

"DWTS" co-host Tom Bergeron told US Weekly on Wednesday that he hoped Deen would consider joining the program as a first step toward career rehabilitation.

"We've seen career resurgences after the show," he said. "People go, 'I remember why I love that person!'"
