Thomas Guiry, the "Sandlot" actor, was arrested over the weekend for a headbutting incident involving a police officer.

It was only weeks ago that Guiry and the rest of "The Sandlot" gang reunited for the 20th anniversary of a film synonymous with summertime baseball.

So it might be hard for fans of movie to hear that their beloved Smalls, played by Guiry, got so drunk over the weekend that he headbutted a cop at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

According to reports, the 31-year-old actor became verbally abusive when a United Airlines employee told him he was too drunk to fly.

A police officer who was called to the scene offered Guiry the chance to visit a sober-up center. In response, the actor became even more belligerent and tried to kick the officer in the face. When he successfully headbutted the cop, Guiry was arrested.

Though the officer sustained minor injuries, Guiry was booked for felony assault and later released on $5,000 bail.
