Raven-Symone came out as a lesbian in a cryptic tweet she wrote Friday in which she showed support for a recent legislation that legalizes gay marriage.
"I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you," the 27-year-old "That's So Raven" star tweeted.
Though Symone didn't care to elaborate on her sexuality right after the tweet, she did re-tweet someone else' post confirming the obvious.
"She been out, momma just didn't have time for bull [expletive]," wrote Twitter user @H8teTheeSquares.
Symone later explained that her tweet did not mean she had any intention to marry in the near future, but that she was merely making an observation.
"I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted. I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage," Symone told E! News. "I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to."
This isn't the first time the former Cosby star addresses her sexuality on the social media site. Back in 2012 Symone said "her sexual orientation was hers" after rumors about her being gay spread on the Internet.
"My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life," she wrote.
