When Paula Patton took her husband and her mom to the premiere of her new movie, she felt she had to give them a warning.

"I just said, 'Mom, you're gonna see my boobies.'" Patton said. "She was like, 'OK, I think I can handle that.'"

Patton stripped down for her new movie, "2 Guns" starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, and felt she needed to warn her mom, Joyce, and husband, singer Robin Thicke, ahead of the screeining.

"This is [Thicke's] first time seeing it on screen," she explained. "He sees it at home all the time. But yes, this is the first time he's seeing it. And my mom."

Patton defended the decision to use nudity -- "It's for the art, always" -- especially after Thicke's new "Blurred Lines" video stoked controversy with its dancing, topless models.

But Patton loved it.

"My initial response was I love the clothed version, I don't think we should put out the naked version," Thicke said. "And then I showed it to my wife and all of her girlfriends and they said 'You have to put this out, this is so sexy and so cool.'"
