Anthony Weiner has 78 percent approval with young women

Former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner may still be in the running to become the Democratic candidate for New York City's mayoral post.

According to a poll gathered by dating website SeekingArragement.com, the disgraced representative is backed by 78 percent of females aged 18-26.

The website, which allegedly connects "wealthy clients with attractive clients" surveyed 18,000 of its female members and found out that 63 percent approved of Weiner. The highest approval came from the 18-26 demographic.

Last Tuesday, the 48-year-old father of one confirmed that new lewd pictures of him posted on the website TheDirty.com where in fact from a correspondence he had with a 22-year-old woman after he resigned his post in 2011 following a sexting scandal.

After the pictures came out, Weiner's approval rate has been dropping slowly but surely. However, the politician has claimed the low numbers don't scare him.

"Doesn't change my life one bit," Weiner said of his poll numbers on Monday. "I keep talking about things I'm talking about."
