Though Lea Michele's camp has issued statements on behalf of the 26-year-old actress, who was reportedly "devastated" by the news of Cory Monteith's death, she hasn't spoken publicly about her boyfriend and co-star until now.
On Monday, Michele took to Twitter for the first time since July 13 -- the same day that the 31-year-old "Glee" star was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room -- to thank fans for their support and to share a personal photo of him.
Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart. pic.twitter.com/XVlZnh9vOc

“Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them,” Michele's rep said in an earlier statement. “They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.”
Michele's message has been retweeted more than 197,000 times.
