Skrillex's website has been hacked and defaced, with the front page replaced with the same page used in a series of attacks last year.

Turkish hacker "Eboz" left his signature calling card -- an image of silhouetted penguins -- along with a message in Turkish.

"My homies are always with me, among friends,

Is there anyone not with me in every breath I take?

Greetings to friends; we're not dead, still living,

I have nothing to do with Facebook, Twitter, or forum accounts."

The last line is a hidden message, likely to other hackers or anyone tracking him.

In November last year, Eboz targeted hundreds of Pakistani domains in a DNS attack, including the official sites of Apple, Google and Microsoft.

The penguin hacker told TechCrunch that he regularly steals credit card, identity and social account information from major sites, often in "zero-day" attacks that exploit the vulnerabilities of a new release or update. He then sells this information in underground forums in the "Deep Web" on the Tor network.

"And I’ve hacked NASA a few times, tried getting evidence of UFOs," Eboz said.

The Skrillex attack may have just been for fun, or maybe Eboz intended to harvest fan information. Either way, Skrillex laughed it off on Twitter.
