Reports that the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Cuban infielder Alexander Guerrero to a 7-year, $32 million deal spread Wednesday after ESPN Deportes' Dionesio Soldevia tweeted the news.
However, new reports assure that "nothing is finalized" yet.
"No agreement in hand with anyone. No truth to any of that,” MLB's Jesse Sanchez said adding that there were still three teams in the mix.
According to Soldevia's initial report, the Dodgers plan on moving Guerrero through Double- and Triple-A quickly so that he can take over at second base in Chavez Ravine "in a couple weeks."
