Tyrese Gibson, Ginuwine and Tank comprise the R&B supergroup TGT, who performed their latest single, "I Need You," live on WLNY last week. I didn't go well.

The 42-year-old Ginuwine, who has struggled with substance abuse in the past, appeared unusually fidgety and seemed to forget the words (at about mark 3:10 in the video above), prompting his own bandmate to call him out afterward on social media.

Ginuwine went on the defensive by implying that Tank's performance was nothing to brag about.

"Tank trying to leave himself out lololol," he tweeted.

"Obviously I need eye drops lololol," he added. "I'm going to always perform in the morning so I can blink blink blink blink blink."

"Fellas ya'll gotta get it together....My performance was great," Tyrese joked.

In an interview with Street Heat TV posted Tuesday, the "Pony" singer said dry eyes weren't the only cause of his awkward behavior.

“Aye, man. It was six o’clock in the morning and I popped something but it wasn’t no d**n molly!” Ginuwine said ("molly" being another term for Ecstasy). “I popped a damn 5-hour ENERGY drink and I didn’t think it would do that to me.”
