Amanda Bynes has been hospitalized on a 5150 hold for mental evaluation after starting a fire in an elderly woman's driveway.
Police arrived at the door of the woman and asked her, "Do you know anyone by the name of Amanda Bynes, or why she would have some vendetta against you?"
The woman said no. Police then explained the situation to her, explaining that there was a young lady in her driveway that had lit a fire and was carrying a small gas tank.
Bynes had burned part of her clothing, according to the homeowner. She is on an involuntary psychiatric hold in Los Angeles, but can only be held for 72 hours.
This comes just hours after Bynes was accused of trespassing at a retirement community in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
She reportedly asked the taxi driver to take her to the facility and then told him she had no money, at which point she was kicked out of the cab.
Bynes headed toward the retirement home, apparently to visit an elderly family member, but community staff called police when she appeared to be drunk.
Bynes was not arrested on that occasion, but she may have been ticketed for trespassing.
