Michael Moore to divorce after 21 years of marriage

Filmmaker Michael Moore, 59, has filed for divorce from Kathleen Glynn, his wife of 21 years.

According to documents filed with the Antrim County Circuit Court in Torch Lake, Michigan, the director claims the couple no longer lives together and that there is "no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved."

It is unclear if Glynn, who has not only been married to Moore for two decades but has also worked with him on several projects including "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 911," knew about the director's intent to get divorced.

Glynn reportedly does not yet have an attorney but Moore has secured representation with Joseph Aviv and Jason R. Abel of the Bloomfield Hills law firm of Honigman, Miller, Schwartz and Cohn.
