Actress Emma Roberts ended up in handcuffs after a fight with her boyfriend, her "American Horror Story" co-star Evan Peters while in Montreal.
Montreal police responded to a call reporting a fight in Roberts and Peters's hotel room on July 7, and immediately arrested Roberts after observing Peters's bloody nose and a bite mark.
Roberts, 22, was released from jail after several hours, when Peters, 26, decided not to press charges.
Sources close to Roberts said the fighting was mutual, but Roberts got the bracelets because Peters had obvious physical injuries.
"It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding," the couple said in a statement. "Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it."
The couple has been dating since spring 2012 and "seemed fine" after the incident a source said.
