Two Olympic medallist Jamaican sprinters have reportedly tested positive for banned substances following a test conducted at the national trials.

The tests reportedly took place from June 20 through the 23 and according to the Jamaican Gleaner, a total of four players, two throwers and two sprinters, failed to pass them.

There has been no official confirmation about the findings.

The revelation about the sprinters drug use comes a day after news broke that American sprinter Tyson Gay tested positive for banned substances in May and would not be allowed to compete in the World Championship next month.
