Following George Zimmerman's controversial acquittal on Saturday night, demonstrators in major cities across America took to the streets in a show of support for Trayvon Martin's family and in condemnation of the Florida justice system.
As President Barack Obama called for "calm reflection" in the aftermath of the verdict, Sunday's protests in New York, Boston, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles and Sanford, Fla., were mostly peaceful, with some reports of skirmishes between police and demonstrators.
