Former Major League Baseball star Danny Tartabull was named the most wanted deadbeat dad in Los Angeles after amassing a $275,000 debt in child support for his two sons.
After being charged with failing to pay child support for his two sons, Zach and Quinten, in January 2011, Tartabull pleaded no-contest but failed to meet the terms of his probation.
On May 2, 2012 the 50-year-old baseball player was ordered to surrender and serve 180 days in county jail. After he failed to appear, the court issued a warrant for his arrest and set bail at $200,000.
This week Tartabull's name and photo were added and featured as No. 1 in a "Most Wanted List" released by the L.A. County Child Support Service Department.
According to Baseball-reference.com, the former MLB player made nearly $33 million in salary during his 14-year carreer.
