Charlie Sheen hunting the Loch Ness monster?

Actor and sometimes-warlock Charlie Sheen made an impromptu trip to Scotland last week, and he was on a mission.

Sheen fueled up his private jet and headed for the highlands, where he and two friends went hunting for the mysterious Loch Ness monster.

The actor, ex-baseball star Todd Zeile and friend Brian Pekk, armed with one particularly awesome helmet, rented out a castle near the Loch for their adventure.

A source close to Sheen said the trio grabbed a bottle of scotch and rented a boat in search of the creature, but no luck.

They group headed back to Los Angeles the next day, sans proof of the legendary lake dweller.

Sheen did, however, tweet about it, even composing a bit of poetry.
