If the Birdman has anything to say about it, the Miami Heat will be going for a three-peat, and he'll be there to help.
Chris Andersen, who was a key player for the NBA champions in 2013, committed to re-signing with the team, sources confirmed.
Andersen will sign a one-year, $1.7 million deal with a second-year player option, a source close to the player said. He reportedly had choices with other teams, but "Miami was always No. 1."
The big man joined Miami in January, and was reportedly a team priority for the offseason.
The source said Andersen will sign the deal in Miami as soon as Wednesday, but then would head back to his off-season digs in Texas to hunt hogs.
