Protesters irked by France's recent decision to legalize gay marriage made their political stance known at the men's final of the French Open on Sunday, while Rafael Nadal played David Ferrer for the title.
First, a couple of shirtless men stood up in the stands holding a sign that read "France tramples on children's rights," according to the Mirror. The protesters chanted and called for the resignation of French President Francois Hollande.
During Rafael Nadal's turn to serve, a masked man bearing a lit torch ran onto the court, before he was quickly subdued by security. He had the words "Kids right" on his stomach, BBC News reported.
