Will Tim Tebow ever play again in the NFL? Tebow, who has been teamless since he was cut from the New York Jets in April, has been quietly going about his business while the football world argues over whether his career is kaput.
But then, ESPN The Magazine's David Fleming dropped this bombshell in a column last week (emphasis ours):
Even now, after Tebow cleared waivers unclaimed and with members of his camp privately admitting that his NFL run is probably over, the football world remains as divided as ever over him.
Had even Tebow himself given up on ever playing again?
Apparently not: NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport got a hold of Bob Tebow, the quarterback's dad, who flat out denied the rumor.
"You're old enough to not believe all you hear," Bob Tebow chided the reporter.
Asked Bob Tebow, Tim's dad, about ESPN Mag report that Tebow admits NFL career is over: "You are old enough to not believe all you hear."

Rumors of Tebow's demise have been swirling since the Jets cut him, a move that would have been unfathomable just two years ago when he led the Denver Broncos to unexpected success.
But, questions of talent aside, the quarterback's personal popularity -- "Tebowmania" -- may have become an albatross no team was willing to take on.
