Sean Parker, the American entrepreneur who co-founded Napster and became Facebook's first president, tied the knot with singer-songwriter Alexandra Lenas in a $9 million ceremony on Saturday, People reported.

Parker's rep said that the couple married in Big Sur, Calif., "with 300 family and friends in a romantic, magical setting."

Parker, 33, who invited "Lord of the Rings" costume designer Ngila Dickson to style his guests, refuted a New York Post report that he was aiming for an over-the-top medieval-themed wedding inspired by "Game of Thrones."

"Sorry to disappoint, but the wardrobe we're giving wedding guests is essentially modern. No swords or chain mail," he tweeted in April.

"Just because we don't trust our guests to dress themselves properly doesn't mean we want them to look like #GoT characters," Parker quipped.

"Academy award winning costume designer Ngila Dickson is creating gorgeous, inspiring, and unique designs that are both modern and whimsical," he added.

John Perry Barlow, a writer and political activist who attended the ceremony, called it an "elegant" event.

"Forget what you heard about Sean Parker's wedding. It elegant, tasteful, and magical," Barlow tweeted, along with a photo of the happy couple posing in the California woods.
