Did the 25-year-old pop star just go from blonde to blonder?

The paparazzi caught with to Rihanna sporting a platinum blonde bob on her way into her Manhattan hotel Monday night, TMZ reported Tuesday.

Though there's no confirmed reason for the synthetic switch-up, E! Online speculated that the wig had something to do with the two photoshoots she did on Monday. According to Rihanna's Twitter feed, the singer shot photos for her River Island clothing collection and MAC makeup.

"2 day shoot for my upcoming Autumn/Winter collections with River Island was flawless! My models looked so d**n good! Foreign chicks errwhere," she tweeted.

"And that's a wrap on another #MAC shoot!! 2 in 1 day!! Thats my d**n team!!!" she added later.

Rihanna wore the wig just days after on again-off again beau Chris Brown told an Australian radio show that he couldn't "be focused on wife-ing someone that young."

"I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thang, she on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward," he said.
