Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin arrested for battering ex-wife

Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin was arrested in Los Angeles Monday after he allegedly battered his ex-wife in front of several witnesses.

TMZ reports law enforcement officials rushed to a West Hollywood establishment at around 3:30 p.m. on Monday after receiving a call that reported Scantlin was seen shaking his ex-wife and dragging her by the shirt.

Officers decided to arrest Scantlin -- for the second time this month -- after talking to victims. Police said he hadn't been very cooperative during the arrest.

"He was very mouthy," a source told TMZ.
