About a month after she turned 105, Pearl Cantrell told local news station KRBC how much she loves bacon, and Oscar Mayer sent the iconic Wienermobile to take her for a ride around Richland Springs, Texas.

"I love bacon. I could eat it for every meal, and I do!" she said and encouraged others to do the same. "I want other people to eat bacon, I tell them too. My kids all eat it," Cantrell said.

Meat and cold cut company Oscar Mayer took an interest in the centenarian's love of bacon.

"We've seen a lot of stories on the road, but nothing quite like this one, so we're excited to be here. We know she's an inspiration. Pearl is an inspiration for the community, and her friends and family. So we had to make a special stop here for her today", said Abraham Luna, "hotdogger" for Oscar Mayer.

"I will never, ever forget this, for the rest of my life," Cantrell said after she got to ride "shot-bun" around her hometown. Then employees gave a gift of bacon, and Oscar Mayer says they plan to ship Cantrell more bacon in the future.
