Justin Bieber fans took to Twitter to thank the star for honoring a Muslim prayer call at a show in Istanbul. The Islamic call to prayer, called the Azan, occurs five times a day and it coincided twice with the concert. Bieber halted the concert for both.

Users on Twitter said this is not a common occurrence in Turkey, even among Muslim music artists.

E! reported that fans were pleased and surprised when he stopped the concert.
