Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced via Twitter he had undergone emergency surgery on Tuesday and that it had been a success.

E! News reports the 40-year-old actor was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night for an emergency hernia operation and was forced to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film "Pain & Gain."
The film's director Michel Bay, sent his best to the actor from the red carpet.
On Sunday Jonhnson tweeted he would undergo surgery this week to repair an abdominal tear."Dwayne's hurt tonight," Bay told E!. "He was pushing it too hard. [ He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men."
