A photo that surfaced of Johnny Manziel's Heisman trophy holding what looks to be a joint is digitally altered, according to the athlete's own Twitter account.

The photo surfaced on Outkick the Coverage, which writes that the Texas A&M quarterback went out to celebrate after bringing the trophy home with him.

That night of celebration was April 20, or 4/20, an unofficial pot smoking holiday.

You can't really tell whether it is actually Manziel is holding and kissing the Heisman, but the person holding the photo in the picture is wearing the same shirt Manziel wore at the ceremony earlier in the day, as seen in photos at TexAgs.com, a website and message board for Texas A&M fans.

This isn't the first time he's gotten in trouble with photos online -- his Instagram photo with cash at the casino led "Johnny Football" to ban himself from Twitter.

He broke that ban to respond to the Heisman photo.
