Kate Von D has given People magazine the details of her upcoming wedding to deadmau5, born Joel Zimmerman, which she says will be, "the furthest thing from traditional." The 31-year-old tattoo artist and television personality will have an "underwater-themed" ceremony inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's, "The Call of Cthulhu." The wedding will also feature mermaid-performers and blue-and-green foods.

As for the dress?
"It will have a sleek silhouette and include hints of iridescent teals, blues and deep violet ombré gradients," Von D said.
You could hardly expect an orthodox marriage from the creative couple, who got engaged over social media last December. Deadmau5 proposed to Kat Von D via tweet, complete with a photo of the ring.
"I got on my f**king E-knee and proposed," he told Vibe in February. "We met on Twitter, so it was kind of fitting. It wasn’t just me being a f**king weirdo. Asked about his relationship with his future bride, Deadmau5 said:
She’s f**king awesome. She’s rad. We both come from similar backgrounds in the arts. It’s good to be able to bounce off someone creatively. She loves me to death, and I love her to death. It’s just a good merging of two empires. [Better] than either of us carrying someone’s f**king dead-ass weight.
