Mere hours following the explosion near the finish line at the Boston Marathon, little was known about the perpetrators of the attack that injured dozens and killed at least two.
But that didn't stop some people from speculating, especially after a rumor -- denied by Boston Police -- of a 20-year-old Saudi Arabian national was under guard at a hospital as a potential suspect.
Anti-Islamic blogger Pamela Geller was quick to jump on the New York Post's report, labeling the tragedy "jihad" on her blog, Atlas Shrugged.
Then, conservative columnist Erik Rush tweeted -- then deleted -- what he claimed was a joke about rounding up Saudis and killing them.

Rush's original tweets have been deleted, but in later messages he called his critics "Islamic apologist worms" and "vermin."

Astounding, the number of fools who've been brainwashed into standing up for our sworn (by them) enemies. Absolutely astounding...

And they're foul-mouthed Islamist apologists, too... I wonder if there's a correlation.
