“Very different from a ski race,” Lindsey Vonn told the New York Times' Bill Pennington Thursday, after media spotted the Olympic skier watching the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.

Still recovering from surgery to her right knee, Vonn showed up for round one of this year's Masters tournament, where Tiger Woods, her boyfriend of several months, is competing for the green jacket.

“I can’t really walk too much," Vonn said of her injury, but added that she had no intention of leaving. “I’ll be here every day to the end," she said.

According to Golf.com, Vonn spent time with Woods' mother, Tida, his agent Mark Steinberg and coach Sean Foley.

Woods and Vonn went public with their relationship via Facebook post last month.

"Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating," Woods said in the post. "We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes."
