After Tuesday's episode of "The Following" aired in the U.S., Bacon retweeted a producer who mentioned a major plot-twist from the show.

The problem? Bacon has Twitter followers all over the world, many of whom had yet to see the episode of the popular serial killer drama, or who watch the show on DVR.
"To all the fans abroad and late watchers I'm truly sorry I retweeted a spoiler," Bacon tweeted, when he realized his mistake. "I just wasn't thinking. Won't happen again. #MyBad"
