Donald Trump attended Saturday's Madison Square Garden ceremony as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, but wrestling fans showed no love for the 66-year-old businessman and "Apprentice" host.

According to Bleacher Report, the crowd repeatedly booed any mention of Trump during WWE CEO Vince McMahon's introduction and carried on right through Trump's speech.

“Donald will soon find out this is a very partisan crowd," McMahon said, after describing Trump as someone who would have made a great president.

The audience also booed before Trump stepped on stage. “You’re not even going to let him come out here before you boo him?” McMahon said.

Fans stopped booing long enough to cheer wildly for Trump's daughter, Ivanka, to which he replied, "Finally people like someone from the Trump family."

In a WWE statement about the induction, McMahon described Trump as someone "whose status brought an unmatched level of publicity and grandeur" to the organization.
