A Russian graffiti artist known as Pasha P183 was found dead Monday at the age of 29.
The cause of his death is unknown, but confirmed by Teatralnoye Delo theatrical production company, which had commissioned the artist to create scenery for its upcoming musical, "Todd."
Pasha P183 carefully guarded his anonymity, much like British artist Banksy, to whom he was often compared, earning the nickname, "Russian Banksy."
His website says he was born in Moscow in 1983 and graduated with a degree in communicative design. He also said he had a law degree.
His work can be found throughout Moscow and St. Petersburg.
One of Pasha P183's most recognizable works, a giant pair of glasses extending from a lamp post into the snow.
