Barbie dolls hung from bridge in Medford, Oregon

Medford, Ore. police are waiting for tips on the case of the suicidal Barbies that were found hanging from a bike path bridge on Tuesday morning.

Authorities said they found several naked Barbie dolls hanging by a thread from the bridge over Barnett Road sometime before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, KTVL reported.

Police are unsure if the incident was a prank, a new form of graffiti or if there is a hidden message behind the hanging of the dolls.

After a public works crew removed the Barbies from the scene, police said the case would not be investigated, but followed up based on tips.

If found, the culprit could face could face criminal mischief charges
