Lindsay Lohan pregnant? Starlet tweets April Fool's joke

"Its official. Pregnant..." Lindsay Lohan tweeted Tuesday morning at 1:30 a.m., ET, just missing the end of April Fool's Day on the East Coast -- it was 10:30 p.m. on the West Coast.

Lohan's post, which was retweeted nearly 16,000 times, perplexed and amused the Twittersphere. While many users immediately called her bluff, others congratulated her on her "pregnancy." It wouldn't be the best time for Lohan to get pregnant. The 26-year-old actress, currently dating City of the Sun guitarist Avi Snow, begins a 90-day stay in a lockdown rehabilitation facility on May 2, after pleading no contest last month to reckless driving and lying to a police officer.

UPDATE:: Lohan confirmed that the tweet was a joke Tuesday.
